Lord Combustion Services is in the running for a Midlands Air Ambulance award and needs your vote to win!

The company has made the shortlist for the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity’s Recognition Awards in the Corporate Partnership Award category thanks to its efforts to support the charity’s lifesaving missions.

Midlands Air Ambulance Charity will recognise its aircrew, supporters, fundraisers, volunteers and corporate partners at its Recognition Awards and Charity Ball on Thursday 25 September at the Motorcycle Museum in Solihull.

The Corporate Partnership Award recognises businesses that have shown exceptional dedication, initiative and commitment to raising awareness and vital funds for the cause through their CSR efforts.

Ahead of the big night, the charity is holding a public vote for the Corporate Partnership Award. The nominees with the most votes will be put through to a final judging stage.

You can cast your vote up until 4pm on Saturday 7 June via this link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/M2BTDFF.

Lord has partnered with Midland Air Ambulance Charity since 2019 and has donated more than £43,000.

Last year Lord raised £20,000 by hosting a charity ball and also funded a new Toyota Yaris for the good cause so that the organisation can continue to receive blood and blood products for its lifesaving service.

In its first year of service, the blood delivery vehicle has already covered over 32,000 miles and completed 320 round trips, conveying blood between the Blood Bank at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham and Midlands Air Ambulance Charity’s Strensham airbase on the Worcestershire-Gloucestershire border.

Stuart Smith, managing director for Lord Combustion Services, said: “We are very proud to be supporters of Midlands Air Ambulance Charity and their vital services.

“It is great to see the ongoing impact of our fundraising and the important role that the blood delivery vehicle has already played in just one year.

“We would really appreciate it if all our partners, customers and supporters could get behind us and acknowledge our fundraising efforts by voting in this poll.”
