Commercial heating and ventilation specialist Lord Combustion Services has become a licensed supply partner to Tridium.

Tridium Inc. is an engineering hardware and software company whose products facilitate and integrate the automation of building and other engineering control systems. Their solutions enable control systems to communicate and can help improve energy performance.

Lord Combustion Services supplies and installs a range of building management systems that control and monitor boilers and ventilation systems.

As a gold partner, Lord is an approved reseller of Tridium products and can provide Tridium-branded software licences and hardware.

Lord’s in-house team can provide control systems to suit customers’ particular applications and implement energy-saving control strategies to maintain optimum levels of efficiency and comfort.

Lord Combustion Services managing director Stuart Smith said: “We are pleased to be partnering with Tridium to provide high-quality heating and ventilation control solutions for our customers across the West Midlands.

“The partnership will build on our work delivering energy-efficient heating systems and will strengthen our offering, which includes award-winning maintenance, repair and installation services for a host of sectors.”

As well as partnering with Tridium, Lord is also partnered with international heating equipment manufacturer Ariston and Birmingham-based pump manufacturer Selwood Pump Company.

Lord is the services partner for Ariston Group UK in the West Midlands region, servicing Ariston, ELCO Heating Solutions and ATAG commercial product ranges including heat pumps, boilers and hot water solutions under the partnership.

Selwood, a sister company within the Lord Combustion group of companies, operates as a close partner to Lord within the field of pumps and fluid transfer. The business manufactures its own range of pumps for a wide range of process, industrial and building services applications.

Having opened for business in 1982, Lord now has a team of 45 engineers and support staff, delivering services for more than 1,000 sites across the Midlands, including 300 schools and hundreds of health sites.

Lord has been recognised for its work on sustainability and environmental impact, having successfully delivered significant retrofitting heating and hot water projects for the likes of the landmark Edgbaston cricket stadium in Birmingham.
