This is a regional role – no long-distance national travel – offering a better work-life balance while still working on varied and interesting projects in and around the West Midlands.

About the Domestic Gas Engineer Role:

You’ll initially be working across a range of domestic properties throughout the Midlands, carrying out:

Service, maintenance and repair of domestic gas boilers and heating systems

9

Fault-finding and diagnostics (with a focus on first-time fixes)

9

Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and gas safety checks

9

Breakdown response and reactive maintenance

9

Working alongside experienced Commercial Gas Engineers to develop your commercial knowledge and skills

9

Opportunity to progress into commercial gas engineering as your experience grows

What we’re looking for:

9

Valid Domestic Gas qualifications (essential)

9

1 year’s experience as a Domestic Gas Engineer

9

Proven experience servicing and repairing domestic gas boilers and heating systems

9

Strong fault-finding and diagnostic ability

9

A willingness to learn and progress into commercial gas engineering

9

Basic knowledge of controls/electrics (advantageous)

9

Full UK driving licence (max. 6 points)

9

Ability to manage your own workload and work autonomously

9

A reliable, proactive and professional approach

9

Ability to complete clear industry certificates and job reports

Salary and Package

Fault-finding and diagnostics (with a focus on first-time fixes)

Company vehicle – available for personal use (Hybrid Estate Car option upon completion of trial)

Monthly attendance bonus

On-call standby payments + premium call-out rates

9

Overtime paid at enhanced rates (time and a half / double time)

Working Hours :

Monday – Thursday: 8:00am – 4:30pm
Friday: 8:00am – 4:00pm
